Rev. Rosie Oberlies: Pastor of the First Spiritualist Church, Minister of Healing, Reiki Master and Instructor
Rev. Rosie came to First Spiritualist Church in 2000 and found and experienced a wonderful healing atmosphere. Like many who come to First Spiritualist Church she discovered a wonderful treasure, her spiritual path. It is the foundation for serving humanity thru this church. She took many of the classes that F.S.C. offered and was ordained a minister in December 11, 2005. She is a Reiki Master Teacher and works as a Reiki Practitioner at the monthly Tuesday Evening Healing Circle. She also has the Reiki Healing Circle the first Sunday of the month, leads the Reiki Practice Group and leads the monthly Full and New Moon Meditation. Rev. Rosie has served as President of the Board, Vice President, Trustee and Chairman of the Social Committee. She was Minister of Healing. Rev. Rose is now Pastor of the First Spiritualist Church. Rev. Rosie believes we all to come to earth to learn and live the Spiritual life while we are on Earth clothed in a physical body.

Rev. Lorina Pyle: Assistant Pastor of the First Spiritualist Church, Auric Healer, Board President, Message Bearer, Lyceum Teacher
Reverend Lorina Pyle is a very blessed mother of eight and a grandmother. With the love and support of her husband and family, she joined the spiritualist community in 2002. Knowing instantly that the philosophy of Spiritualism resonated completely with her thoughts and beliefs. It was such a relief to know that many others were having the same experiences such as clairaudience, clairvoyance, and clear sentience in which she had experienced since the age of three.
Lorina has had the privilege of taking classes and working with many great mediums at the First Spiritualist Church, Harmony Grove, and The Open Door. Serving at these establishments have helped her to better understand why she has these spiritual gifts and assist her in fine tuning and sharpening her psychic abilities.
Lorina is a Spiritualist Minister, Auric Healer, Minister of Healing, Lecturer, Certified Trance Medium, and Teacher. She now serves on the board of trustees at First Spiritualist Church as president.
Her motto is live by the golden rule: maintain personal responsibility, live in awareness, forgive daily, accept love, and give selflessly. We are all expressions of the divine spirit known as God.
Rev. Rosary Etzel: Minister of Healing, Auric Healer, Board Secretary, Message Bearer
Rev. Rosary found an interest in Spiritualism in 1968. She first came to The First Spiritual Church in the late '70s to attend the funeral of one of its pastors, Rev. Harold Fulkerson, the father of a friend and co-worker.
It was then that Rev. Rosary met Rev. Barbara Klein who impressed her with her Spiritual Readings and the possibility of developing her own spiritual abilities. They have since enjoyed many years of friendship.
  She later met Rev. Marcella Jones and Dr. Robert Ippolito at the March 2005 Association of Realization and Enlightenment (ARE) meeting where they introduced the Yuen Method of Energetic Healing.
Needing this healing and wanting to know more so she could help others, she came back to the First Spiritualist Church for training in all of their classes.
The year-long class in Dynamic Spiritual Law with several classes at Intuitive Insights, Happy Science and the Qigong spiritual training opened her heart and soul to realize who she is, why she is here and where she is going after this lifetime on Earth. She would like to share her knowledge teaching others while she continues to grow spiritually.
Before retiring Rev. Rosary had a career in banking and health care developing computer applications. She's earned a BS in Business Management from SDSU and several professional credentials. She is the mother of three children who blessed her with three loving grandchildren and two very special great grandchildren.
Rev. Rosary has served on the FSC Board of Trustees as Vice President and is currently Secretary for a second term. She serves as an Auric Healer and Healing Conductor during the Sunday Healing Service and as a Leader, Lecturer and Message Bearer during the Sunday Worship Service. She is honored to be the Minister of Healing and a member of the church Trinity.

Bill Babcock: Webmaster, Board Treasurer, Auric and Reiki Healer
I have been member of this church since early 90's. I have been going to spiritualist church since early 70's. I have first received healing papers at Inner Light Metaphysical Church at Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. When I moved to San Diego area in 1982, I continued to do healings at First Christian Spiritualist Church at National City. Now I have Healing Papers form First Spiritualist Church. I have been doing the web site for the church since mid 90's and doing fourfolds.
I have some of my dream experience like the earthquake of San Francisco, attempted assassination of President Reagan and eruption of Mt. St. Helens before it happened. I even had dream about being at Krakatoa which I knew it was going to erupt. This appears to be one of my past lives.
I also lead hikes with Walkabout group. I am member of Sierra Club, Nature Conservancy and Coordinator of Friends of Chollas Creek."
Rev. Noal Douglas Despain: Music Director, Message Bearer, Board of Trustee
Rev. Noal Douglas Despain. His spiritual journey began in the Church Jesus Christ of the Latter Saints, in which he served as a missionary on a three-year mission. Later, he became a member of Terry Cole Whittaker's Ministry. He has also studied the principles of Science of Mind, Shamanism, the science of the Mayan Calendar, Buddhism, the ways of the Great White Brotherhood, ant the Masters of the Far East. His spiritual path led him to the First Spiritualist Church, where he continues to study Spiritualism. He is our Music Director. Noal is our Sunday Service Pianist and Organist and sings beautifully. He is also a certified Healer, working as an Aura Healer in our Sunday Aura Healing Service. During our worship Services, he has given several lectures. He is a certified Reader, serving as a Message Bearer in our Sunday Worship services He works in our Psychic Fairs, as a Reader and helps to present our Psychic Fairs.
Noal has recently been ordained as a Full Minister, and serves on our Board of Trustees.
He is very knowledgeable about the energy of Crystals and Tetrahedrons, and likes to teach what he knows.

Rev. Margaret Adler: Auric Healer, Message Bearer, Board of Trustee
Rev. Margaret Adler was born in Winchester, Virginia and as a teenager she had a growing interest in reading about the lives of various mediums
In 1989 she moved to San Diego and became a member of the First Spiritualist Church a year later. She was ordained as a Licentiate Minister in 1993. Her path then veered her away from the Church to pursue other interests, but was led back to the First Spiritualist Church in 2002, when once again, she decided to renew her commitment to the FSC. Rev. Margaret took the necessary classes and was ordained a full reverend on December 11 2007.
She has served on the Board as Secretary and is now serving as a Trustee. Rev. Margaret has worked in the Psychic Fairs, Sunday Mini Reading Circle, Free Healings Events and monthly Tuesday Healing Circle. She is also an Auric Healer and a Message Bearer. Rev. Margaret is a wonderful story teller, has a gift of spinning a tale!

Lorna Cowan: Reiki Master, Auric Healer, Message Bearer
Lorna began attending The First Spiritualist Church in December of 2008. She had been searching for a church that "felt right" and found what she had been hoping for in spiritualism. Being a Reiki Master, which heals with Universal Energy and through Divine Spirit, Spiritualism fit in nicely with her passion of healing. She began taking classes and studying Psychic Development, Auric Healing and Spiritual Healing Law. She now serves on the Board of Trustees, is an Auric Healer and a Message Bearer.
