Rev. Rosie Oberlies: Pastor of the First Spiritualist Church, Minister of Healing, Reiki Master and Instructor
Rev. Rosie came to First Spiritualist Church in 2000 and found and experienced a wonderful healing atmosphere. Like many who come to First Spiritualist Church she discovered a wonderful treasure. Her spiritual path is the foundation for serving humanity thru this church. She took many of the classes that F.S.C. offered and was ordained a minister on December 11, 2005. She is a Reiki Master, teacher and works as a Reiki Practitioner at the Tuesday evening healing circle. She also has the Reiki Healing Circle on the first Sunday of the month, leads the Reiki Practice Group and leads the monthly Full and New Moon Meditation. Rev. Rosie is currently President of the Board and has served in the past as Vice President, Trustee and Chairman of the Social Committee. She is now Minister of Healing. Rev. Rosie believes we all have a sacred contract - to come to earth to learn and live the Spiritual life while we are on Earth clothed in a physical body.

Rev. Noal Douglas Despain: Music Director, Message Bearer, Board of Trustees
     Rev. Noal Douglas Despain. His spiritual journey began in the Church Jesus Christ of the Latter Saints, in which he served as a missionary on a three-year mission. Later, he became a member of Terry Cole Whittaker's Ministry. He has also studied the principles of Science of Mind, Shamanism, the science of the Mayan Calendar, Buddhism, the ways of the Great White Brotherhood, ant the Masters of the Far East. His spiritual path led him to the First Spiritualist Church, where he continues to study Spiritualism. He is our Music Director. Noal is our Sunday Service Pianist and Organist and sings beautifully. He is also a certified Healer, working as an Aura Healer in our Sunday Aura Healing Service. During our workship Services, he has given severaly lectures. He is a certified Reader, serving as a Message Bearer in our Sunday Worship services He works in our Psychic Fairs, as a Reader and helps to present our Psychic Fairs.
     Noal has recently been ordained as a Licentiate Minister, and serves on our Board of Trustees.
     He is very knowledgeable about Crystals and Tetrahedrons, and likes to teach what he knows.

Rev. Rosary Etzel: Auric Healer, Board Secretary, Message Bearer
Rosary found an interest in Spiritualism in 1968 and first came to The First Spiritualist Church in the late '70s, when she attended the funeral for Rev. Harold Fulkerson, the father of a friend and co-worker. She met Rev. Marcella Jones and Dr. Robert Ippolito in 2005 at an A.R.E. meeting where they introduced the Yuen Method of Energetic Healing.
Needing this healing and wanting to know more about it so she could help others, she came back to The First Spiritualist Church for training in all their classes. The year-long class in Dynamic Spiritual Law with classes at the Psychic Institute and Qigong training opened her heart and soul to realize who she is, why she is here and where she is going after this lifetime on Earth. She eventually would like to share her knowledge and teach others.

Rev. Rochelle Stewart: Board of Trustees, Minister of Healing, a Reiki Master, Yuen Practitioner, Auric Healer, and Message Bearer

     Rev. Rochelle Stewart, is a native San Diegan who is a mom to 3 beautiful grown children and Grandmother of 3 amazing grandchildren.
     Her career span includes 12 yrs as a Radio Announcer which included working in all aspects of Radio and Television Broadcasting. This falls in naturally as Rochelle has always strived to help and communicate effectively with others. She is now using the gift of communication in a more healing way. Rochelle has had special gifts of clairvoyance, clairaudience, being able to feel others energy and the gift of healing ever since she can remember. She came to the First Spiritualist Church in 2005 and has focused her attention on energy work as a light worker and an instrument of God. Rochelle does Reiki healing sessions at the church as well as holds relaxing Reiki Healing Sessions and other healing modalities and readings in her own office. Rochelle also plans to incorporate her Native American ways of Healing.
     Rev. Rochelle is a Minister of Healing, Licentiate Minister, Reiki Master, Yuen Practitioner, Auric Healer, Message Bearer & Psychic Reader. Rochelle also serves on the Board of Trustees at the First Spiritualist Church and strives to continue to help others in any capacity on the path of enlightenment.

Rev. Lorina Pyle: Auric Healer, Board President, Message Bearer, Lyceum Teacher

     Lorina is a very blessed mother of 8 children 1 grandson and a loving supportive husband. She has had the gift of being able to see and hear spirit since a very young age. It wasn't until her early 30's that she began to study the philosophy of spiritualism.
     She has had the privilege of working with many great mentors from the First Spiritualist Church, Harmony Grove, and the Open Door, all of which have enhanced her with the knowledge to sharpen and fine tune her psychic abilities.
     Her goals are to one day begin a spiritualist church in Hawaii combined with the beliefs and practices of Hawaiian mythology.

Bill Babcock: Webmaster, Board Treasurer, Auric and Reiki Healer

     I have been member of this church since early 90's. I have been going to spiritualist church since early 70's. I have first received healing papers at Inner Light Metaphysical Church at Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. When I moved to San Diego area in 1982, I continued to do healings at First Christian Spiritualist Church at National City. Now I have Healing Papers form First Spiritualist Church. I have been doing the web site for the church since mid 90's and doing fourfolds.
     I have some of my dream experience like the earthquake of San Francisco, attempted assassination of President Reagan and eruption of Mt. St. Helens before it happened. I even had dream about being at Krakatoa which I knew it was going to erupt. This appears to be one of my past lives.
     I also lead hikes with Walkabout group. I am member of "Sierra Club," "Nature Conservancy" and Coordinator of "Friends of Chollas Creek."
